I am trained in Gestalt therapy, one of the many directions in psychotherapy.

Like most other psychotherapeutic approaches, psychotherapy with me takes place in conversations between the client and me.

Often, therapy will have a dual focus

Often, therapy will have a dual focus – partly to alleviate the acute symptoms or problems and partly to work more deeply with the underlying causes. The approach is flexible and always individually adapted to your specific situation.

A course can last from a few conversations to a longer course, depending on your themes and wishes.

As a Gestalt therapist, I believe that we humans have all the necessary abilities to solve our problems and get through difficult situations. But sometimes we get stuck in problems or inappropriate patterns and need help finding our way out.

My job as a Gestalt therapist is to help you

My task as a Gestalt therapist is to help you see more clearly what your situation is, figure out how you participate in it, and experiment with finding new solutions or ways to face the difficulties.

The focus of Gestalt therapy is the encounter between the therapist and the client. Every therapeutic meeting with me begins with an examination of your specific needs and possible goals.

Once I have defined your needs with you, I will find the specific intervention that, in the given situation, creates the best development process for you right now.

Practical information

At the very first meeting, we will explore together whether therapy is something for you and whether I am the right therapist for you. I will ask you about your background: education, important events in your life, family, health, etc.

If we agree that I am the therapist for you, we will agree on how to proceed and make a new appointment to meet.

We can meet every week, every two weeks, or every three weeks, depending on your needs.

  • I offer times between 9 am and 6 pm, Monday, Tuesday, Friday.
  • We meet for 1 hour at a time unless otherwise agreed.
  • The price is 900 kroner.
  • Payment by cash, MobilePay or bank transfer.
  • Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance by contacting me – either by phone message or SMS – otherwise full payment will be charged.
